Artist Statement

It has always been easier for me to visualize things rather describe them with words. Therefore the very idea of an artist statement completely goes against my nature. I tell my stories with the images I create. I choose to paint as a realist but approach my subject matter in a softer and more impressionistic manner. I prefer oils because of their capacity to provide greater depth of color and value.
