Biography

Soirsce [sear-shä] 

Born in 1988 in Fish Creek, Wisconsin, Soirsce Kastner Wu’s aptitude for art was apparent from a very early age. She began taking adult-level painting and drawing classes at the Peninsula Art School in Fish Creek, WI at the age of 11.
A home-schooled student, she was fortunate to have the opportunity to enroll in a formal studio program at the Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art in 2005, where she attended until 2008. There, she lived and worked as a full-time art student, focused on representational painting and drawing under the direction of Craig Blietz.
Starting in 2008 she spent a year traveling solo, living and painting in China. Soirsce currently lives and paints in Sister Bay, WI.
